Blood blisters on labia

When I was pregnant, I developed a few blood blisters on the outer and inner labia. I mentioned to my midwife and gp who said it was due to the pressure of baby on blood vessels. Im now 3 and a half months pp and I’ve only really just had a proper look down there. My labia is covered in blood blisters. Some are protruding, some are flat. But it just looks absolutely awful and a few are sore. Has anyone had similar? Do they go away in time? The gp says they’d go away but I think they genuinely look worse now than when I was pregnant. It looks like I’m riddled with some sort of gross sti. I also have no idea how I’ll shave/ wax without causing myself to bleed badly. I know it’s personal but if anyone has had experience in this, please tell me how long it takes to get better, if it does get better. Thanks!
