Forward facing in pram

When would you put your baby in a pushchair or turn the seat unit forward facing? My son is almost 8 months old. Extremely nosey. My other son we got a diff pram to the travel system when he was about 10 months old & world faced him then. My silver cross is heavy and takes up all the boot space. Plus the buggy board just doesn’t sit brilliant on it as it’s difficult to turn with it for my older son. I’ve been thinking of getting the other pram out and putting the silver cross away. But really indecisive of what people think is best at this age? If being towards you or world facing at 8 months old? Anyone any opinions on this xx

We have a world facing pushchair for the car and use the travel system at home which he still faces me in. So he does both x

Mine can go rear or forward facing. If I want to keep awake I face her forward facing and she loves it

I do abit of both, he loves looking around xx

My LG has been forward facing in the pushchair we've got since about 4 months maybe

My boy does a bit of both but prefers world facing! Have done this once about 6 months x

my lo who is 7months is still rear facing

@Sarah hardenMy boy is coming up to 9 months in 2 weeks and I still have him parent facing 🙈😅. He’s got awful reflux though to the point that he chokes and sometimes aspirates it so I prefer having him facing me just in case it happens and he needs help as he’s always silent when it happens so I wouldn’t know otherwise. As much as he’d love to see the world as he’s also a nosey boy, I just can’t bring myself to do it yet 🙈 xx

I did it about 2 weeks ago for my son, who is 9 months next weekend. He really loves it but I do find it strange not being able to see him. If he is due a nap and we are out i normally turn him round then to reduce distractions xx

We have the Silver Cross Coast Travel System, and it's definitely large, so feel you on that! Our girl has been world facing for about 2 months now, she's 8.5 months old. We switched her around because she's so so nosy and loves to look about. If she's due a nap, however, I'll pop her in forward facing as she settles easier when she can see me or her Daddy. If you have a nosy baby, world-facing is a winner!

I changed my LG to forward facing at 5 months, she was too nosey and just wanted to look around. On the other hand, she also fell asleep a lot quicker because she didn’t have me to look at/play with ☺️

My first one was moved at 6m, second at 7m but we have friends who still have their 2y old facing them.
