Tips for taking out poop stains

Anyone have any tips for taking out poop stains on clothing?? I have a 2 month old who is breastfeeding and occasionally has a blowout which stains her clothes yellow. Sometimes it comes out in the wash and sometimes it doesn’t.

I noticed it comes off only if I throw them in right away if it sits at all it will stain

I immediately pre-treat the stain with Dawn dish soap and soak in warm water in a bucket. I throw it in to my next load of laundry. 90% of the time, it’s good after washing. Occasionally, I get things that I can’t save.

Sunning them, literally leaving them to sit in the sun, can really help. Used to work when I was cloth diapering my first. Also if you can't throw it in the wash right away, rinse and soak in cold water to help prevent it from staining. Haven't had a stain from his poop yet, and I've left it for longer than I care to admit, lol. Also works with blood

Dreft and Dawn dish soap with a bit of water. DAB the stain away. Rubbing it will set it into the clothing more

Look I’ve never dealt w poop stains on clothes coz he uses cloth but I’m an expert at getting stains off the diapers themselves. So wet them. Then spray w a stain remover spray, leave there to sit until the next wash, in the the next wash, add detergent and a scoop of Ôxi/Vanish. On HOT. I do that to my diapers and they come out white every time, no stains xx. I sun what’s leftover but what’s leftover is usually food stains on my tablecloth, not poop stains- they’re all gone. Don’t let them dry out. If you can’t get to it immediately, soak in water

Soak in vanish powder overnight

I scrub it in the sink and soak it in hot water and soap.

I use an oxi clean stain remover spray and it usually helps remove it once I put it in the washer. But it has to be done right away so the poop doesn’t stain the clothes.

I cloth diaper and when poops stain u just put them out in the sun. So after u wash if the stain is still there put them out to dry in the sun. 99% of time it will go away

Spray and wash 90% of the time. I also add oxi clean

Maybe put it in the sun I've heard before
