My dad has done the same thing again this morning I noticed and someone put her in the cot. I don't believe they are safe. Referring to the laser. My girl has grey eyes, black pupil but white around the pupil. Is this normal? I appreciate the response Teegan. However, I am so tempted to throw that astronaut out to be honest 😔 xx
I have one for my baby. Not sure how they wouldn’t be safe… you’re supposed to shine it on the ceiling or wall not the projector light directly into their eyes otherwise yes that would probably hurt their eyes a bit but it won’t do any damage she’ll be fine. Black pupils and white eyes is normal too… Just tell your dad to shine it on the wall instead
Just don’t use the laser. The others lights are not bright enough to affect I believe
I booked an appointment to have her eyes checked this morning at the Doctors and about her reflux. But my parents won't take me there because they have narcissist tendencies and are quite horrible towards me. I appreciate your reply though Louisa. I don't know what to do at the moment. 🤦🏻♀️ I have removed the astronaut now though and have hidden it. However Aurora isn't really showing eye contact anymore. And randomly crying. But I feel a bit more reassured and just holding on to hope that black pupils and white around it is normal.
We have one but we keep it pointed at the ceiling from a bed side table
@Heather if there is a problem with her eyes I would imagine there is an underlying problem rather than the laser causing a problems I guess unless it was shining in her eyes for long periods then maybe but I don’t know. But I can’t imagine one off being much of an issue. I’m sorry about your parents I would be considering whether you want them to be apart of yours and your babies lives if they are so toxic. There could be so many reasons she is crying if she has reflux she could be crying as she is in pain. It’s always best to get her checked out by a doctor though. Best of luck
We had this when she was little, it’s fascinated her. Big wide eyes from the colours and movement. A few seconds really won’t do any damage, regardless of her iris colour. The optional green laser display isn’t strong enough to do any real damage, her eyes are most likely dilated cause it’s the most amazing display she’s ever seen in her life. I personally wouldn’t be concerned about tears, she could have trapped wind. There’s so many possibilities as to why she’s unsettled and there’s no way to work out if it’s connected to a few seconds of bright light hours ago xx
Hi, I have one for my little girl who has recently just turned one month old, it is only lights and is good for their development due to it being colours, they aren’t overly bright so shouldn’t affect your little one. My little girl loves it and it helps her settle on a night time. I would definitely recommend it xx
