What’s acceptable to use as a parcel for vinted?

New to vinted and have sold an item that’s literally £4. I don’t have parcel bags and to buy them it’s like £3! So there’s really no point. Can I use a plastic shopping bag (clean) and wrap it up like a parcel in that or is that not acceptable?

I have read that if you don't post your items in boxes and the buyers dispute for some reason, vinted won't side with you. Do you have Amazon boxes, postage letter boxes saved somewhere? I normally put tems in al plastic bag inside the box and take careful photos especially if your items cost more than 20 for example.

i use plastic shopping bags amd have never had an issue xx

I always use a carrier bag x

I always reuse old packaging, last week I sent a larger item in a double wrapped bin bag, got there fine! I've never had an issue xx

i literally use sainsburys bags lol

I use shopping bags and never had a problem too

I’ve used shopping bags too- especially for bundles of stuff that are too big for the postage bags that I do have, never had a problem.

I've had one come in a double layered bin bag and was fine with that I've had others come in old Amazon boxes and even a cereal box and didn't care if it's all you got on hand that's fine by me! I have seen people send things in old food wrappers and that I would be annoyed about 😂

I've never sent anything on vinted but everything I've ever bought apart from one item has all been sent wrapped in bin bags or carrier bags secured with parcel tape, I've never had an issue with anything being sent that way

I buy parcel bags from Amazon. They’re super cheap! I just think it look nicer personally. But I’ve received parcels in old parcel bags being re used, carrier back and black bin bags. As long as the parcel doesn’t get damaged, I’m not bothered ☺️

I reuse parcel wrapping I’ve had from online shopping. Often when I’ve bought things on Vinted it’s been a bag for life or taped up bin bag!

I use shopping bags 😂 never had an issue and no ones ever complained!

I buy parcel bags off Amazon, I get Im buying second hand but it annoys me when I receive something in a bin bag that a sheet of paper is thicker than

As long as it is packed appropriately there shouldn't be any problem. If it arrives damaged then they'll look at whether or not it was packed appropriately & to meet the nature of the item.

I've used bags for life and even bin bags before, just make sure to use lots of parcel tape so it's secure. I mostly recycle parcel packaging though.
