I asked on Saturday and was told you can’t reserve / that they have to see what the need is on the day ☺️
Thank you for the answers :) can I also ask how long did you have to stay after the c section?
I stayed a day and a half, mine was an emergency section after an induction. The surgical team are absolutely top notch and I recovered pretty fast, they literally pulled my daughter out so fast I didn’t even know they had started! 😂 If all is well and once you’ve peed a certain amount they’ll let you go home.
Just wanted to add - once you see your little one you won’t care about the room anymore! I really didn’t want to be in the ward but time flew by and I was so in love with my little girl I didn’t pay attention to the world around me :) x
Hey there! You can ask for one on the day but from what I remember they only have 1-2 rooms and they tend to keep them for specific patients (twins, people with Covid etc). I believe it’s £75-100 a night if the room is free, so worth asking! I asked when I was there but it was very busy (December) unfortunately. Good luck for tomorrow and congratulations!!
