Pregnancy post myomectomy

I recently had major surgery to remove multiple fibroids, with the biggest one being 16cm! They couldn’t remove them all as would leave my uterus in too much of a mess Is there anyone who has got pregnant after having this? And any tips?

I had a myomectomy and currently pregnant 27 weeks no issues. My fibroid was at the top of my uterus on the outside. They said I will possibly need to have a C-section to prevent complications during birth. I got pregnant via ivf 3.5 months after surgery.

I went down the IVF route (my surgeon wouldn't operate until I had embryos on ice), I got pregnant via FET 5 months later but had fibroids 3 months post op!! We had the option of trying naturally but we opted for IVF as the process was alot and we didn't want to waste it. No issues with my pregnancy though. Good luck!! 🤍

Found out I had fibroids during my first pregnancy first scan. After my first pregnancy I had to have them removed as the concultant said they looked suspicious. 7 months afterwards I was able to get pregnant again with my 2nd. All naturally. There are a lot of people that conceive naturally after Fibrodis removal 🙏🏾

@Daisy hey daisy! I had myomectomy 3 months postpartum and got pregnant 3 months after that. Due in sept. Are they planning to schedule you for c section? My fibroid was large at the top of my uterus and I know they mentioned I’m not a candidate for VBAC because of it and previous c section

@Linda did you have natural birth or c-section?

@Jenna Hey sorry just saw this. I had a C-section in June to deliver my little girl. Recovery was faster than fibroid removal in my opinion. Wishing you an easy birth.
