@Roisin thanks hun. Yeah just started using Vaseline so will stick to just cotton pads and Vaseline instead of wipes xx
Light use of metanium and if you can just take the nappy off and wrap him in a towel so his bum gets some fresh air
Kokoso baby coconut oil is good for lots of skin problems, it says also for nappy rash
Do you use a barrier cream or bepanthen? That’ll clear it up and barrier cream (like Weleda) means that you don’t need to change their nappy as regularly as it protects it.
@Aimee I’m just using lots of Vaseline at the moment on the sore and a little bit of sudocrem on the rash x
@Laura Weleda nappy cream is really good and will heal the skin.
@Laura I would get a proper nappy cream
Pampers caused an awful rash but eco by naty were fine and mamia seem okay atm as we’re trialing them as i dont like the lack of wetness detector in eco as theyre so absorbent if its a small pee you wont realise 🤣
Metanium yellow to clear the rash and the metanium barrier cream or barrier spray have kept it at bay now
I’ve never had an issue with Pampers and Water Wipes. Expensive but worth it!
Second water wipes, we were using the huggies version which was irritating her more and the moment we switched wipes n nappies it hugely improved
Kit&Kin nappies - they are great ! Water wipes plus sudocrem.
When my LB was newborn he ended up a bit raw on his bum from me accidentally overusing metainium🥲 I did what your doing changed him regularly and i used damp Cotton pads to clean and loaded his little bum with plenty of vaseline at every change - healed up within a week xx
