When did you all pack your hospital bags?

I'm planning on having a home birth but going to be packing a hospital bag for me and baby incase we get transferred to hospital for any reason. I'm 30 weeks now and haven't bought any of the "hospital bag essentials" yet or washed/packed any of babies clothes🫣 what week did you all start prepping and packing?

i spoke to my midwife about when i should have my hospital bag packed by and she said technically 37 weeks is full term so best to have it packed from 36 weeks just in case. I haven’t bought any essentials either & currently 33 weeks. I started washing clothes at like 28 weeks however it was more so because i was excited to look at them and go through them all, but basically will just throw a load in when i remember 🫣 there’s also lots of bits i still need to buy like towels and nappies etc.

I had mine packed at 28 weeks, but I also have major anxiety and over-organise everything. I did a little bit at a time. I picked out her clothes and bits to wash. Another day, I went shopping for bits I needed and put my own stuff aside when doing the laundry. My midwife says best to be packed by 35 weeks in case of an early arrival, I took that a bit extreme, I guess 😂

I’m 33 weeks now and started to get everything I need for the hospital bag. My plan is have it ready before week 36

I’ve only just finished mine and I’m 34 weeks today!x

I did it gradually between 28 and 31 weeks

I’ve just done my baby washing at 31 weeks I’ve most of the essentials packed now just in case and because I’m too excited to meet little one 🥰 x
