Cat Napping

My almost 6 month old is still only napping for 30 minutes every nap 😭😭 I don't know what to do. We had 3 times last week where she woke up from her afternoon nap but managed to put herself back to sleep... so she had an hour in total. I thought we were getting somewhere but it hasn't happened since. We're still averaging 4/5 naps a day.... I've tried everything. We are also still getting up every 2-3 hours at night to feed (EBF) PLEASE someone tell me it gets better and when 😭😭😭

My little boy of similar age naps 30 mins max in his cot, ive resorted to contact napping or in the pram at nap times to get slightly longer, the boy just doesn’t nap

@Jade she only sleeps for 30 minutes regardless of where she is 😒😒😒 I find myself getting really frustrated with her which I hate!! I just don't know what the answer is 😭

@Izzy I feel this my firstborn was exactly the same. Its just a case of encouraging baby to go back to sleep inbetween sleep cycles.

Mine stopped cat napping when I started napping with her 😏

It definitely gets better! We’ve been in this problem for about 2.5months and tried EVERYTHING! But literally had max 30 minutes nap but kept at it and the last two days he’s done 2x 2hr naps literally out of the blue. I actually kept checking he was still breathing lol. I think it’s just a part of their developmental this stage x

My daughter is exactly the same. All of the sudden she sleeps only for 30 min ( she used to have 40min to 1h, then 2h and then 40 min naps) We also wake up few times at night for feeds. We co-sleep that is why I’m still alive 😅 I hope it will pass 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
