It’s from the risk of food poisoning, so as long as you are well, I think you are ok!

You should be absolutely fine - as mentioned above, it's more to do with the risk of food poisoning, which is why it's okay to eat it when it's above 75° x

It was in a sandwich I ordered so not sure about temperatures… will have to wait anxiously now see if i am ok 😬

I'm sure you will be - other countries don't have it on avoid lists. I don't think it's in the same category of avoidance as booze, raw fish, and avoiding liver products x

Probs two packs a week at one point when I was pregnant x

Oh

Will try to stop worrying then!

@Zara yeah had a perfectly healthy baby girl. When have you ever known someone to get food poisoning from parma ham lol the list is full of things that could possibly give you d&v which I don’t even know how that could affect a baby but it’s the same as if you caught the flu I guess x Be as cautious as you want, I had terrible sickness and could only ever eat what I craved and usually that came out anyway xx 😘 pregnancy is hard enough

I've accidentally eaten all sorts in this pregnancy. Things that were not banned on the NHS list but are listeria risks according to others. It's a minefield! and has led to at least a couple of terribly sleepless nights. The actual risks of getting ill are so so slim and food safety standards are so high these days. Try not to worry yourself sick x

Thank you ladies xxx

I ate an entire pack of those m & s antipasti platters with the cheese wrapped in parma ham early in pregnancy. The salt was gooooood

Yeh very low risk, I wouldn’t worry

@Charlotte love those 😭🤣 I lived off them in the first trimester

You think that's bad.. during my pregnancy I went to a dimly lit restaurant and was eating a burger.. didn't see that it was only half cooked until I shone my phone light on it I had ate half of it! I was soo paranoid for at least a week but all was fine thank goodness. I reckon you'll be totally fine x

@Natalie oh gosh I would be freaking out as well… its so bad sometimes i just let it be and eat few things then i google if its allowed.. not sure how my brain works 😂😂
