The way I've always done it is just to use a flat edge of something to carefully slice down the back and remove, and then you can use adhesive remover to get the remnants off. As it's on what looks to be gloss paint though, it'll probably take the paint off, but a couple quick coats after sanding it smooth and you'd never know it was there
