One can as long as there are no complications during your next pregnancy. My OBGYN recommended waiting 2 years after a c section to increase your chance of having a vbac
Csection doctor told me to wait a year after section before getting pregnant again. She said I can have natural birth next time.
You can aslong as your consultant and midwife agree. I literally had a c-section just under 7 months ago and I'm 4month 2 weeks pregnant and there saying I can have a natural birth this time if I would like x
You can do whatever you want to, it’s your body and your choice. You can have a vaginal birth after c section (VBAC). The only thing is you should wait a certain amount of time after your c section to give birth because there is an increased risk of uterine rupture, the risk increase is very small but it is an increase so you should come to your own conclusion about if you’re happy to accept the risk. The other thing is you cannot be induced because that will further increase the risk of uterine rupture. It’s not up to anyone else but you whether to go for it, your care team are there to support your choices, not to tell you what to do. But I would definitely do some research on VBACs - maybe listen to some positive VBAC stories on YouTube or podcasts.
If everything went fine (as fine as c sections go) then there shouldn't be anything stopping you, but they recommend 1.5 to 2years to allow for you scar to heal, abdominal wall to strengthen etc etc. It depends on the reasoning for the c section ultimately, mine was just a potential infection combined with HR dipping, by the time we got into surgery he had self corrected so didn't really need the intervention.
My answer would be go with what you feel your body can handle
