Breastfeeding
Anyone else feel like they were almost forced to start formula by their in laws so that it means you have less time with the baby? I can’t help but feel this way and I always get comments made about breastfeeding and it’s really getting to me.
Has anyone else had any struggles?
Also the whole trying to take my newborn from me to sleep next to them at night is so not ok? Why are Asian MILs like this? You had your chance to have kids and raise them now let us do our job? But obviously they won’t be like this with their own daughters

@saba Glasgow! Yeah I had to stand my ground but do it carefully as apparently it’s my job to keep the peace in the household despite being the one who had just given birth. Apparently the MILs feelings are more important than me not wanting to give away my son? It caused some problems but I’m not gonna let someone else try to take my son - it’s different if I willingly give him to her for a night so I can get some good sleep but if I’m not comfortable with it nobody should force me
