How to cope with pregnancy anger?

I’m having a hard time dealing with my very absent withdrawn parents who’ve made me so angry / upset lately. I’m working on lowering my expectations of them but they still continue to disappoint me. Anyway, I just can’t seem to shake the anger off. It’s gotten so bad that I’ve really starting to hate my beloved cats, to the point that I feel like rehoming them! I can’t stand them, their meows, their presence, everything. Is this normal? I feel so guilty & that I’m going to be a bad mum. What can I do to calm down?

I have no advice but following because these hormones got me fired up too 😂😭

@Tee ohh it’s hard 🫠 I’m so triggered lately! 😭😭

Same here, sis. Everything drives me nuts. I just want to drive away somewhere far far away, leaving everything behind. I am thinking to start homeopathy right after delivering my baby because it seems to help my mood, just can't take it while pregnant.

@Dimple how are you coping?

Honestly, just trying to do things on my own and avoid spending time with my mother-in-law and sometimes husband too. Going on drives, meeting up with friends. Trying to stay out any chance I get. I know it's toxic but I feel like it's better to not project my anger on them especially when the source of my moodiness is mostly my MIL. So I'm trynna avoid spending time with her as she lives in the same house.

@Dimple have you told your husband though how you feel? The only thing that keeps me sane is knowing I can vent to my husband about my feelings What is your MIL doing that triggers you?

Actually yes, I just talked to him this morning after keeping it inside me for a while now. I feel much better 😊 My MIL is not like a typical MIL but small things like being too economical and trying to tell us where we should spend money and what not to buy. Stuff like that. After discussing with my husband, things seem a lot clearer now. I am a really bad communicator lol so still learning to talk to my husband about stuff rather than keeping it inside.
