Thinking about adoption

Hi all, We have a beautiful 2 year old boy and have been beginning to talk about the potential of adopting this time around. It would be great to hear from anyone (South West if possible) who has been through this. I guess I'm looking for lived experience of already having a child then going on to adopt. Perhaps a slightly older child, maybe 3 or 4+ as opposed to baby at the point of adoption. Just any advice, tips, how you approached things really. Thank you
