Ogden Regional delivery

So I wanted to hear how people's experiences were delivering at Ogden Regional. With my insurance the IHC hospital I wanted is out of network and my doctor only delivers at Ogden regional, which is in network. My sister said she liked the labor/delivery rooms as they are spacious and you stay in that same room. She said their only downfall was how bland and not great their food is.

They are amazing I actually think there food was great for birth lol but they were amazing and I absolutely love them the rooms are big and spacious they showed us where the soda machine was so we could get them whenever we wanted the nurses are amazing and so kinda and willing to answer and walk me through it all

I haven’t given birth there but I used to work there and it was one of the best places. I was always impressed with the level of care the patients received.

Oh for reference I also worked for IHC before that and while I usually go there, there is more a personal touch as well as timely responsiveness . I think it’s because it’s relatively smaller than most IHC hospitals.

So good!

Amazing nurses, rooms are a nice size, nicu is really close by if that applies, and I really liked that I didn't have to move to a different room after birth

The food is dog shit, she's right about that. I delivered there unfortunately had to be C-section but my experience was pretty great for first time. The rooms are nice and the staff really made me feel comfortable. Mainly my interaction with staff was with surgery prep and recovery but nothing to complain about.

Also, since I didn't get my natural birth, I was still able to do all the other things I wanted. Skintoskin, delayed cord clamping, keep my placenta, delay shots til after first nursing. I felt I had total autonomy. The lactation specialist comes in to help with nursing and latch.
