Would I be a bad mom if I had scheduled my son a surgery for his toes

His doctor has us see a surgeon a few times there all said that we should wait til he’s older (he’s now 19 months) the picture is old but it’s all I can find atm all the surgeons we’ve seen say that it wouldn’t affect his walking running etc. I love his little toes!, But I just don’t want him to hate me in the future for not doing the surgery
