1. Biracial babies’ hair grows ‘up’ and ‘out’ not down. It will naturally look that way without product and sometimes with it. 2. What you call “unruly” is his natural curl pattern forming, maybe start to change that word to “beautiful”! 3. Don’t brush it. As it gets longer, if you need to detangle, use your fingers or you can use a Denman brush so that you preserve the natural curl pattern. 4. Cuz he’s pretty young and probably doesn’t need products/oils now, you can just leave a pea sized amount of conditioner on it, apply while wet, let air dry. 5. Also!! That’s what curly hair looks like as it starts to form! It’s not always curly right away so nothing will ‘make it curl’ but patience. 6. Shampoo once a week. 7. Other times, just simply wash with conditioner, called co-washing. 8. Our hair goes in ‘different directions’ because it’s textured, that’s the nature of its beauty. He’ll need to learn to love that and you can be the one to show him. 💜 9. Keep moisturized.
my daughters hair is the same with product and when it’s dry and combed out its straight. when i add detangler, oil, and curl cream it curls up. i use those 3 products and haven’t had any issues, you just have to find a brand you like that works well for his hair ☺️
It might not be curly. U cant make staight hair curly. Wait and see what kind of hair he gets once he loses this baby hair. Far too young for products
My son used to have straight hair at the beginning and later on started having some curls, so i cut his hair because he was looking like he got electroshocks 😂and after the haircut his natural curls started growing... Now he have 4b curls
