Looking for support
My doctor called me this week and said I should hold off on starting IVF two weeks before start date because of a botched surgery I had at my last fertility clinic. I turn 36 in August and feel like the last three years of TTC were for nothing. Has anyone else had to pause treatment? Even if you haven’t, any good vibes or positive energy you can send my way are more than greatly appreciated.
This whole process feels like limbo anyway but when you hit a delay it’s so hard. We were in for our Day5 fresh transfer in May and they couldn’t get the catheter in so they just sent us home with minimal info and we were like wait, what just happened?! They did give us a plan the next the day and we are back on track now (after paying for a hysteroscopy abroad and a mock transfer) but that day when they sent us home was just devastating. I’m so sorry you’re having to wait even longer than you already have, it’s so hard, please be kind to yourself and let yourself feel whatever you need to feel. Best of luck with everything!
