Same as above. My boy loves to sleep sideways as well, I’ve given up trying to move him now as he’s comfy 🤷🏼♀️
I think it’s a thing! I guess that’s why people used to use bumpers! I have thought about buying bumpers but I feel like eventually they will get more specially aware 💭
That to me seems like the dimensions of a cot? I might be wrong but my cot bed is from mamas and papas and is 140 x 70cm xx Not much in it but I wouldn’t bother changing the cot. My boy bumps his head too but they’re learning the boundary’s of their cot xx
Thanks ladies. He woke up at 10 past 5 this morning because he hit his head off the bar but I’m glad it’s not just me x
My son used to do this also 😂( and still does to be honest lol) I used a snake cot bumper initially which helped stop his feet getting stuck. I didn’t realise the size difference between the 120 x 60 cot vs the 140 x 70 cot bed until I bought a cot bed for my daughter. I’ve now had to swap the cots around.
Pretty normal tbh! They do cot beds in the size you have and also in 140x70. But even the bigger one will give you the same issue. I'd 100% avoid bumpers and I think you just have to roll with it until they learn to sleep lengthways. If it's really bad do you have a travel cot? They tend to have mesh sides.
My daughter does this she 1 and half. We got mesh bumpers on Amazon. She still sleeps sideways but her arms and legs are not getting stuck anymore.
We have a cot bed and my 8 month old sleeps width ways 🙃. We did buy breathable mesh liners because he kept getting his leg stuck and it would wake him up. Plus he kept losing his dummies now we don't have that problem
We have the same issue here. She’s never really hurt herself but I do find her in some really weird positions. Her legs hanging out the cot. She’ll learn eventually how to sleep in a bed but at the minute I think she just moves freely?
I love my mammas and pappas cot bed xx Or a floor bed you could probably get too xx
We have the same issue but I think it’s because our baby likes to sleep side ways rather than lengthways 🙈
