Ah me too wasn’t the plan but I don’t feel I’m getting enough milk. We are using kendamil pre made formula and have been giving him 60 mls about 4 times a day alongside about 8-10 breastfeeds of different lengths. It’s hard to tell how much to give them
Most mothers think they aren't producing enough because cluster feeding tricks is into thinking they aren't satisfied, but it is normal for them to want to feed constantly during growth spurts
Wasn’t the plan but my letdown is so slow during the witching hours that she was getting extremely frustrated. She only takes 30mls no matter how much we make 🤣 after the bottle she then happily takes the boob (probably to use as a pacifier more than anything else)
We are combo feeding too but I only give formula if I feel empty or baby is getting fussy on the boob as they aren’t getting enough. Babe is almost 3 weeks old. And old this week I can say I have reduced formula. I make bottles of 60ml and let the baby take what he needs. Make sure you’re pace feeding
We are, this was not our plan but I don't think little one is getting as much off me as she needs so we are doing a 25-30ml formula before bed, we had a further 30ml that we were prepared to give her if the 30ml and lots of boob time didn't work. The plan only started yesterday but a friend suggested it as it worked for them, and seemed to help ours sleep/soothe.
