I love my depo preva shot every 3 months
I recently got the nexoplanon implant. July 3rd. So very new with it still. I hadn’t been on birth control for 2 yrs prior, so I did experience some mild emotions. Things that normally wouldn’t bug me, were bugging me. But it seems to have settled now. Also, I haven’t gotten my period yet. So that’s a bit weird for me. I’d read that some ladies stop getting it, some have lighter periods etc. But so far, I’d recommend it.
I’ve had the implant before, the side affects where horrid for me I bled for 4 months straight, horrible mood swings and gained 4 stone in weight in 2 months. There was many more but these where the main issues for me. However my friend had it and it worked wonders for her. Always worth a try and if it doesn’t agree it’s easy to get it took back out again
@Tia thank you
@Jen thank you
@luu🤎 thank you
Ruined my skin. Gave me the terrible cystic acne. Took 3 years off it for my skin to finally get back to normal. Now I’m just left with scars 5years later. Light and irregular periods. Crazy mood swings. X
I just got it out. I had it in for a year and half before we decided to try for the 4th kid. It made me periods terrible and irregular and I hated that part of it.
I’ve been using the nexoplanon implant for a year and a half now. I completely lost all sex drive for a while and I have bad cystic acne that flares up especially around what would be my period week. My acne did not start until about 6 months in and it will not go away no matter what I try.
i do the patch and i love it! super regular and light periods , no crazy side effects, low maintenance
