If you don't had formula into nuby, as Roze explained above don't need to sterlise nuby. You can put all of required water into nuby with formula but needs sterilising after and cannot use for 3 hrs. I used to have 3 so rota'd them and sterlised inbetween. Towards the end of having formula I used to the nuby to keep cooled boiled water in, and them just get boiling water when out and about. So 210ml bottle, 60ml hot water add formula. Measure 150ml cooled boiled water then bottle was drinkable straight away. Found when put water in nuby to cool it wasn't drinkable straight away
Same as Roze said above ^ My little boy has 5oz bottles, so I put 4oz (120ml) in the cooler and 1oz - 30ml in his bottle, add formula and shake, then when the cooler is ready add that to the bottle and shake again. Perfect temp for drinking then. If I’m going out for the day, I have the tommee tippee flask to keep boiling water in x
The hot shot method is: 1) measure out fresh boiled water that you need and set aside 2)putting the scoops of formula in the bottle first 3) add about an ounce (amount will vary depending on how much you’re making and end result) of the boiling water to the formula and shake it out 4) put remaining plain boiled water in the nuby flask to cool down 5) once the boiled water in the flask has cooled then add to the bottle with formula - the idea is it saves you carrying extra flask of cool boiled water and if all works out well then the end result is a ready to feed bottle without waiting for it to cool for ages (test temp of milk on wrist before giving to baby) and you dont dirty the nuby flask so can utilise it longer if out (leaving 3 hours between so it can reset)
