Eufy vs Owlet Smart Sock

I have the eufy! I like it.

@Mariko I'm trying to decide between eufy and owlet.

@Yesenia I haven’t tried the owlet so I can’t compare the two. We got the eufy because baby started co-sleeping with us around 6 months. No false alarms for us and it tells us if/when the sock falls off - which has never happened since there are 2 Velcro straps. Maybe try FB marketplace or local mommy groups to see if you can get a used one for cheap to try it out!

I’m not sure what the other thing is but I like that it tracks all my sons sleep patterns and gives me live reasons for O2 saturation and heart rate. I also really like that in real time it tells me if my son is in a light sleep or deep sleep or awake. It can even tell that he’s still sleeping when in active sleep! The alert system is very though it alerts your phone and the base station in the room so if I’m in a different room with the baby and my phone it’ll drill alert husband in the room and the range that you can be away from the base station is really far I have a two story house and it works all the way down stairs all around my house. Battery lasts almost 17hrs and is really easy to use

@Mariko @Yesenia 🇺🇸 I'd be careful buying an owlet on marketplace. Since they went through fda clearance they are only supporting the old generation through Jan 2025. Most of what I saw around me were the 2nd Gen not the 3rd. Luckily my son was born right before prime day so we got one a little cheaper. If you do get it on marketplace make sure its the 3rd gen that has the fda clearance or it will stop working in a few months
