@Alex yeah recently she's started being funny with her feeds as in coming on and off the bottle and yes she dribbles loads. Xx
@Chloe Sounds like she could have not the greatest latch.. if shes got things like reflux or colicky-crying, or shes not gaining weight particularly well it might be worth getting her assessed for a tongue tie.. GPs and HVs technically can do it but they arent trained to spot anything but really obvious ones, so you would have to go private for it xx
@Alex hey she doesn't suffer with reflux or colic and she's gaining weight nicely I think it might be her latch as she gets a bit lazy half way through her feeds 🤣 ill speak to the hv about it next time I see them x
@Chloe Oh that's good 😊 Yeah just mention it to your HV maybe but hopefully just lip blisters and not a problem 👍
When you finished the course did all the white patches and affected area disappear? If no and you have a suspicion it’s still there or coming back I’d highly recommend going back to the doctors for a longer dose. This happened to my little one and we left it and within 3 days it came back worse than before and was more resistant to treatment.
@Lauren hi I took her tl the doctors and they gave her more nystatin so I've just been giving her that. It seems to have completely gone now but still going to finish the course. I hate giving her it cause half of the time she jsut projectile vomits x
@Chloe oh bless it’s awful isn’t it xx wishing your little one a speedy recovery. I found after we did two weeks it’s not come back x
Have a quick google of lip blisters as they look a little bit like that to me, they are caused by babies using their lips to hold onto the boob/bottle due to a poor latch.. does she have any problems with her latch on the boob/bottle like coming on and off or dribbling milk? Xx
