Nappies leaking

I have tried so many nappies now - pampers, Tesco, boots, aldi and my baby girl leaked in all of them. We then found Sainsbury's and they were brilliant and she didn't leak once in size 2. However, she's just moved onto size 3 and twice in a row she's leaked overnight 😭 has anyone else experienced this? I thought size 2 were looking a bit small but maybe size 3 is too big? Any thoughts or words of wisdom? Thank you!

Maybe also check the way you put on her nappies. There might be a video. Make sure you pull the lining around her bum out. I also fold the top part down on the inside. Hard to explain in text. Pampers dry night is the only one that worked for us.

My boy used to leak up his front every night we started to use pamper protection (the purple ones) in a size up

Might be worth checking her weight to make sure she's in the right ones. We've always found Sainsburys great. Definitely recommend using their pull ups from size 4 too when she's bigger. X

Definitely re-check the nappy sizes, sometimes the weights on the nappies are irrelevant to your baby. My baby is weighing just over 6kg and has recently gone into size 4s (even though they're from 9kg). If it's not the nappies themselves then it might be worth upping the size of her vests (if she sleeps in a vest overnight). Not long after being in size 3 we experienced this as well, but I changed his vests to 6-9m and he hasn't leaked since. X

sometimes brands are better in different sizes, aldi aren’t great for me in their smaller size but i’ve read that they are for bigger x

We find Aldi and Tesco nappies really good. Every baby is different though so I expect the brands will fit them differently. I wouldn’t recommend Asda ones in case you considered trying them - they leaked through the actual front of the nappy, not just escaped through the sides. As others have said, maybe watch a video to check you’re putting it on properly- for example my husband didn’t realise that you had to pull the frills around the leg out.

Highly unlikely but if you are near Tenterden, Kent, I have a few different brands of nappies in size 2 and 3 if you wanted to try one of each - save buying a whole pack and then finding they don’t work

I feel like I’ve used every brand of nappies and the best ones I’ve used are the Amazon mamabear ones and you can get them on subscriptions too! X

I always found that vests made the nappies leak more Size up on your vests and see if that helps at all :)

Try going back to size two and see how she goes maybe there two big for her never had this issue only when nappies were too big xxx
