Walking is a big one for me, go to a mommy and baby program ?
@Kellie thanks for the ideas. I added some of them to my journal
Everyday I do my walk in the evening.. helps so much right now esp. w pregnancy, creating something right now with non toxic watercolors since I used to do oil painting, oh work on my Etsy shop even though I donât sell anything lmaooooo âĽď¸ , prayer everyday! , journaling too!
Something that helps me is having super low hanging fruit self care things so that if Iâm depressed it doesnât feel like I have to climb a mountain. Ie: move my body (so I could dance, I could stretch, I could walk etc), read something that brings me joy, 5 deep breaths. I also like to keep it super limited at first if Iâm gettihn myself through a depression state⌠so just having a goal of 3-5 east af things to do each day then work my way up to things like âwork out for 30 minsâ or âread ___ pagesâ etc.
I also wanted to celebrate you putting brush hair and brush teeth / shower⌠people that have never been depressed donât realize how huge those things feel when in a depressed state.

I think they need to be a little more specific ie read for 30min a day, go for a 20min walk every morning before work, practice yoga once a week etc... Otherwise how about something that gets you into a flow state? Like drawing, colouring, painting, gardening, knitting or something creative like that if you into that stuff? Or playing an instrument? Listen to happy music you love, cook a nutritious meal you love at least 3 times a week... That's a good start though! đ
