Birth control?

I have my pp appointment today and I’m not sure what birth control option is best. I am breastfeeding and don’t want anything to mess with my supply or affect my LO. I used to take the pill but I’m not so good at remembering things anymore. I’m considering the arm implant but I’ve heard some people say it hurts their arm for a long time. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The implant does not hurt unless they inserted it wrongly. However, I am considering the implant too since the momy brain is at its peak

I got the shot immediately after having baby and I’m feeding fine and on average make about 2 oz per breast when I pump. Ofc I can’t say if it has decreased bc of how early I got the shot but so far everything’s been good

I had the arm implant for 9 years before getting pregnant. It worked really well for me, I never noticed any side effects and didn't get a period while on it (which is not the case for everyone). I just had my 4th one inserted yesterday at 6 weeks postpartum. My arm is sore today, and will probably be sore for about a week, but I can still take care of my baby on my own while my partner is at work. The soreness feels like the soreness from a flu shot.

I'm getting an IUD. I had one before and didn't have any negative side effects, so I'm going back. I thought about the implant but 60% of people have abnormal bleeding according to my provider and that sounds unpleasant so I'd rather get an IUD, because I also cannot remember to take the pill consistently.

I'm all natural and I'm gonna switch to condoms until I can have some trust in my natural cycle. And pull out method. Of course, I know women are super fertile after giving birth. I haven't had sex more than 2 times yet since giving birth.

I had mirena before this one, and my first was conceived while I had nexplanon.
