Why does my butt hurt?

Ever since I had my baby, my butt hurts when I sit. Not the anus area…my actual butt cheeks. The pain is excruciating when I go to stand up. I thought it would go away with time, but it hasn’t. I’m 4 months PP

With all five of my children and 2c sections I’ve never experienced this. Did you speak to your doctor at your check up about it?

Could your tail bone be out of line? Lots of things shifted while pregnant and during birth

@Tiffany Pulcher no, my check up was like a week later. The only check up they wanted me to come back for after that was for a pap. I just haven’t went back since.

@Natalie I’m not sure? Maybe that’s a possibility. Just didn’t know if this was normal or what…I’ve never heard anyone else talk about it?

Is it bone or muscle pain? My first thought was that you could have tight glutes and/or hamstrings?

The same has happened to me and I am 7 months PP Message me and we can chat about it x

@Tash I think it’s more muscle but could be both

Hmm as a suggestion - See if you can get a cheap massage gun and dig it into your bum muscles. It’s possible they are very very tight! Or book to see a physio. I hope it gets better for you!

It could be your tailbone. I found that chiropractor treatment helped realigned some things

Thank you I will try both of those

It sounds like sciatic pain, I’ve suffered with this after having my son 14 years ago. Pain killers, massage and heat works on minimising pain x
