It’s really hard to control yourself when it comes to them, speaking from experience! We have to also remember they would have had a birthday the month before so breaking the bank doesn’t do anyone good. We’re probably going to do about 5 max as she will get spoilt by other family members.
I think it's best to just get them what their true needs are 🙂 for example clothes, winter clothings etc x
I tend to see what other people have bought her and then pop money into her account rather. She's too small to know and the most joy she's gotten from a present was the £10 slide we bought off marketplace
I’m getting mine around 5 presents. He had lots last year and was very overwhelmed. These are going to be educational toys like role play as I’ve realised he actually doesn’t have any of it 🙈 also on a budget this year as have new baby coming late December/January so looking to spend no more than £80-£100 for Christmas for my boy x
I get my kids like 1-2 things each 🙈 they don’t appreciate large amount of toys
Not much because I’m absolutely skint especially with November being their birthday 😖😖
We're probably only going to do 1 or 2 gifts. I'm moderately good at being minimal with her toys and she actually plays really well with what we have so I want to keep that going. I also try to buy from vinted or the local charity shops. She's also got 5 grandparents so will most likely be spoiled by them 😅
Keeping it minimal this year, as we did last year. 3 or 4 presents maybe? Purchased from vinted or charity shop probably. I don't think it will mean much to him yet and don't want overwhelm (him or me tbh!). I'd like focus to be on atmosphere and midwinter cosiness more than presents.
