Giving hopes

Hello, this is my personal experience and unfortunately doesn't apply to everyone but I'd like to share it to maybe give some of you some hopes or do some prevention 🙈 So I was diagnosed with endometriosis/PCOS and my Pituary gland dont produce the hormones to make me ovulate on top of that I was victim of a r@pe and kept quite for years that person gave me a STD that blocked my fallopian tubes. My husband as low sperm count. Back in 2021 to 2022 we had medicated treatment for multiple rounds then we did IVF with extremely low chance of success qo doctors implemented 2 embryos! 1 made it and is beside me right now. Now my 1st was born 21 months ago and I just found out I'm pregnant 🙈 yes naturally unexpected but desired we already have a girl and boy name ! Unexpected because we are just about to finish building our own home so we knew we wouldn't have money to to a medicated transfer now but absolutely blessed. So once again this unfortunately doesnt apply to everyone but this is not the first time a "miracle" happen ! So keep that in minds ❤️

Such a lovely story that gives us all some hope!! Can I asked did you have your Endo removed before doing ivf?

@Lucie no I did not but after my first pregnancy I did talk to my doctors about having even worst pain and they advised me to come back to them to re evaluate the situation as sometimes as with pregnancy everything stretches you can then get higher stage of endo, witch I did not had time to do 😅

@Bréa do you know where your endo was? So a transfer can work even with endo?

From my experience I had endo on my ovaries follipians and bladder to my understanding only mildly and due to that I had to do my IVF protocol in 2 part: The egg retrival And the next cycle a frozen transfer. Doing it like that was for our case this wasthe way to have higher rate of success. My endo was not problematic

@Bréa how we’re you diagnosed with endo in those places without surgery? Do you remember what protocol you did for your FET? Was it the HRT? Estrogen and Progesteone? X

I was diagnosed by internal scans before starting any protocol our clinic make us do a bunch of test and followed me very closely during a test base cycle also had 1 large cyst removed before ivf and I think I that time they actually got better idea of how much endo I had, and I had a test can't remenber the name but to check if my follipians tube were blocked and I do believe (but not sure) that it gave us so idea of what was happening for me

And I have no idea witch protocol I did 😅
