Tummy bugsšŸ¤®

I work in a nursery and pick up things so easily, Iā€™ve had a really upset stomach (without going in to too much detailšŸ˜‚) is this something I should be worried about and contact my midwife over? The stomach pains Iā€™m having I think are definitely related to wind as when I go to the toilet they go away! Iā€™m 16+4 and everything is just making me so anxious!!

I know the feeling! 16 exactly today and I work in nhs healthcare and do both adults and paediatric. I've seen lots of cases of coughs colds flu's and whooping cough and I'm now loaded with chestiness and a barking mucusy cough (thankfully not covid) but I feel like death and paracetamol does nothing for me. If you feel like your dehydrated I'd certainly consider some electrolyte sachets like dioralite to make sure your not losing too many essentials from your body.. but if your ever concerned contact your midwife, that's what they're there for :) šŸ˜€

I work in a nursery too!!! This sickness bug is another level, I had it a couple weeks back I just tried to keep as hydrated as possible, apple juice is amazing šŸ©·

@Kim I ended up going to see the doctor who gave me some rehydration sachets and some sickness tablets which seem to have helped!! I havenā€™t got any contact details for my midwife because I donā€™t meet her until Wednesday!šŸ˜‚ glad I went and got sorted though! Put me at ease abit xx

@Nicole loads have recommended apple juice! Will deffo be getting some xx
