@Courtney everyone I’ve spoken to says you have to be working to be given the free funding x
How old is your little girl ? At 3 years old everyone is entitled to 15 hours free a week and 30 hours if you’re working x
Oh of course I completely forgot it was for working parents, sorry! But if she’s never been then she doesn’t know any different so you won’t be letting her down! Maybe instead of nursery plan lots of play dates or take her to soft plays to meet some friends so many things you can do instead of nursery xx
@Paulina she’s just turned 2 last month
I think you should call your council and ask because I just remembered there’s 2 year old funding of 15h for non working parents I got it when I was on universal credit. There’s two codes one for working parents and one for none working parents x
@Courtney I don’t think it is because I got it and I was on universal credit I just never used it in the end because nurseries would say you can only use for example 3h a day of the free hours and my son was so attached to me it would of been very long for him to adapt having only 3h a day and I didn’t want to do 5h or more Monday to Friday when he was still little like that x
Is it not possible for you to use the 15 hours funded hours? X
