For me I’ll definitely be telling my daughter how terrible my pregnancy was with her so she can be prepared when she has kids. I have hg which she can too since it seems to be a genetic thing in my family. My mom, my aunts and my grandmother all suffered the same fate when pregnant with girls so I feel like it’s best for her to be informed so she can be prepared for it and give her some tips on what kinda worked for me.
@Susan maybe feeling underappreciated or something, doesn't make it fair or the child's fault though I agree. @Jody I totally understand and like I said won't be selling the dream- it's more when it's phrased in a way that blames the child? I think my phrasing was a bit unclear on that front. I meant they don't deserve to hear it in a way that blames them or tries to make them feel bad. In general people should be more honest about how difficult things can be, it's more the people who are like "you should appreciate me more, my body is wrecked because of you" etc etc that I take issue with, if that makes sense.
Yeah that’s def my mom. I’d never blame her for how my body looks , she didn’t ask to be created and she didn’t ask to be born so if anybody should be blamed for how I look it’s myself cause I decided to not to use protection
Ain't no way the babies are worth saggy bits having kids is so amazing nothing like being a mom
Agree, I have a friend / acquaintance who has middle school aged children and she is making comments like this. Maybe it’s a bit of mental illness? I don’t know but agree that it’s wrong.
