It does take a while, my daughter took to it straight away whereas my son, who was older, took a while. I spent many days crying with the nursery manager comforting me. It intuitively feels wrong I think, but you have to do what's best for you and your family x

The worst thing is I work at that nursery and the only thing that’s actually braking me is knowing that I can’t comfort her

@Klaudia oh gosh, that is hard. Does the nursery offer any support in this circumstance? Obviously, it is a bit different when you're working in the same place x

Tbh I don’t know because it’s the first time I’m faced with this type of situation so I will just have to see

I was like this crying my eyes out when leaving her with strangers. It is hard at first. The only thing that helped me is to not dwell on any negative thoughts, just think she will have fun meet new friends and learn more x

Same for me. I go back 30th September. We are so so so blessed to have that month. Some mums have had to send their kids back and go to work on the same day. Everything is going to be okay. I cried for about 48hours. But she was absolutely amazing all week. she loved it. She ate, she slept. I knew she would do well. But she exceeded expectations. You do have it harder, working there. But also better, because you know how it works, you know there won't be any issues. You know the staffing team. You have a great insight. Other people being able to comfort your child is a HUGE pro for their development and emotional intelligence. They will do epic trust me! Enjoy the next month 🥰
