Big on scan

Yesterday I went for a growth scan. For awhile now they have been saying he is bigger than normal. I should be 32 weeks today. The results of the scan is 36 weeks today. They estimate baby is 6 lbs 9 oz already. We go to talk to the doctor today. Has this happened to anyone? ..my last pregnancy was over 14 years ago where they said she was measuring small and ended being 10lbs.

My daughter measured 2 weeks ahead from 20w to the end of my pregnancy (40w4d) as well as my fundal height. They told me she would be 8.5-9.5lbs. She came out 7lbs1oz. Ultrasound measurements are not 100% accurate

I had this problem 2 days ago. I turned 31 weeks Tuesday and had a growth scan. My baby is measuring 4 pounds and 7 oz already. I naturally have big babies. My girls were 8 lbs 4 oz and 8 lbs 7 oz but i thought 4 lbs 7 oz is big for just 31 weeks

Yesterday they said my fundal ht was 3 weeks ahead so they scheduled a growth scan, but it’s not for 2 more weeks (which is kind of stressing me out). But from what I’ve googled, it seems like it’s nbd most of the time. I’m kind of hoping that measurement was just inaccurate yesterday.

I guess we will be seeing what he ends up at during delivery. Doctor said we may be looking at 10 lbs before the end. Lol

@Brittany thst is pretty normal! At my 31w growth scan the Dr told me he weighed around 4lbs and was right on track
