Diagnostic Laparoscopy
I’ve just had my pre op confirmed for my diagnostic laparoscopy that I’ve been waiting for 22 months for! I’ve never had any type of surgery or been under GA before. I’m a little scared about the side effects of the GA and the recovery. Guess I’m just after any advice please?

I was petrified for GA, and oh my god it was the most relaxing experience of my life. Like honestly if I could go to sleep that way every night I would!!

GA is not bad, there’s a bit of gas pain and I just took degas tablets. And of course surgical incisions need to recover, so a bit of pain there.
