New to Lakeland
Hey everyone, I’m moving to Lakeland next week with my husband and our almost 3 yo son. We’re moving from Texas and don’t know anyone there and would love to meet some friends. We like fishing, theme parks, the beach, game nights, bbqing, among other things. We are in our late 30s if it matters and we bought a house in the Combee Settlement area. I guess I won’t see waves so please message me if you’d like to have a play date or meet up with us sometime.

Hi Traci! We just moved to Lakeland 5 months ago but we’re from FL. Big move from TX with a lot of excitement for you & the family I’m sure! Would love to link up. Bonnet Springs Park is such a fun & beautiful place for the kids. There are actually good selection of parks in Lakeland. There’s also Kid’s Cafe. & Little Lake Play. Which are both indoor play areas for the kids. Having my little’s birthday party there. I would recommend you checking out the Lakeland Moms website, it helped me a lot when we first moved here. I no longer live in Lakeland but I miss it. Its a quaint area in my open. A nice little downtown and they are opening some stuff. There is a children's muesum that i hear is really nice, open after we moved. It also nice that its between Tampa and Orlando and essentially a day trip to either the Atlantic and Gulf Coast beach days 😊.
