Snot in baby

Advice! my 6 month old son has had a runny nose for two weeks, yesterday I took him to the GP because it is difficult for him to sleep at night because his nose is blocked, at the GP they didn't give me anything and they said he doesn't need antibiotics, I try to clean it but he won't let me, he cries inconsolably, any advice on something I can give him? Thank you 🙏🏻

Humidifier in room Snufflebabe vapour rub Nose Frida to unblock

Saline drops alongside the snot sucker to soften c

Calpol vapour plug in x

We’ve been to the GP this week with my LG, she has Covid and also really struggling with breathing at night. Dr advised to use a saline spray before each feed and then we’ve been using a sucker after the feed (we have the Hakka one but the Frida one looks pretty good) Snuffle babe rub on her chest and back before bed Snuffle babe vapour bubble bath Calpol vapour plug in in the bedroom while we do the bath time so it smells when she’s in bed We’ve also raised one side of her next to me so she’s elevated (not 100% if it’s helping as she ends up in the big bed by 11pm 😅 since she’s been ill) X

Thank you for your advice. It is frustrating to have the baby like this. We don't sleep and the doctor didn't give me any help!🙏🏻😩😪

Calpol vapoir plug, saline nasal drops about an hour before bed. Get a nebuliser, this helps with cough and mucus build up which i do with my dsughter right before bed and the the snot sucker before i lay her down. I would also recommend putting a pillow under his mattress to elevate him.

10000% the Calpol plug in we've had sleepless nights then got one and my LG slept through! We've also had COVID and it's really helped x

I had this with my baby recently , most likely viral/ weather change I used a snot sucker occasionally (he cries when I do this but it helps ) After a little over 2 weeks it reduced
