Tell me about your sunny side up baby delivery experience

I’m just curious. I delivered a sunny side up baby last year. Vaginal delivery, but tough. 2 hours pushing, lots of butthole pain, and he had meconium aspiration from the stress of the delivery. Had to be rescucitated. What was yours like? C section? Flipped over at the last minute? Back labor? Complications? Just wondering.

I’m also curious if your doctors knew baby was sunny side up before delivering or found out during

Sunny side up baby here!! They tried to flip him while I was in active labor but no luck. Lots of meconium in fluid when my water broke, and VERY painful back labor. He even pooped on the doctor when she caught him. But no complications once he was out!

I WAS the sunny side up baby! I flipped 3 weeks early so they rotated me back but I was stubborn and flipped around again, my mom had to have an emergency c section

back labor but really intense contractions. no complications luckily. both of my kids were like that. i found out when i started pushing. i don’t think it was much of a concern though bc i didn’t push for very long at all.

My first baby was a sunny side up baby and back pain was intense. I requested an epidural. The nurses gave me a peanut ball but it was no help. After 3-4 hours of pushing I had a csection. Recovery wasn't so bad and baby latched on with no issues

2 sunny side up babies here (and both decided they where coming brow first fnx kids) First - LONG labour followed by 4 hours pushing, failed ventouse and forceps delivery LOTS of stitches lots of blood loss! Weeks before I could walk properly again! Baby bruised and ended up quite whingey etc Second - 4 hour labour including pushing, managed to deliver totally naturally! Not a single stitch needed and was up and moving pretty much straight away! Still lost a shit tonne of blood but a much nicer experience. She was also a much calmer more content baby

Oh both times they knew babies position prior to delivery.. second time I knew baby’s position and they where adamant I was wrong (I think more to keep me calm!) haha

Back labour, excruciating yet short. Coerced onto my back and into an episiotomy and ventouse. This caused my coccyx to break. Second baby was facing my tummy but I got her in the right position before labour! SO MUCH EASIER! I'd do my second birth again in a heartbeat.
