I used one with both my first 2 and if I can give any advice rolling your hips instead of bouncing helps more as it can help with dilation, my last midwife told me this. I just had a basic exercise ball
I have one never used it in actual labour but I like to use it from around now ( 32 weeks ) until birth i find when I can't get comfortable in bed I spend about 15 minuets on the ball just swaying or rolling my hips and it helps him move into a more comfortable position... or I get too tired and fall asleep from exhaustion which ever comes first lol
They’re also super useful for after the baby is born and you can gently bounce on it and soothe the baby (or at least mine loved it!)
There's no medical evidence that using it would put baby in the correct position. Although there are some websites that claim so. It is old wives tales (some people believe it, some don't) I use it for exercise and helping woth PGP pain.
I have been using one at home semi regularly to help with back and hip pain and baby is head down (facing the right currently but she'll figure that out) not sure if the ball has anything to do with it but that's were she is at 34 weeks
I ordered one last night from babygo
Mines from Babygo too. I liked their colour choices. It’s more comfortable to sit on for work instead of a desk chair. Hip circles and swaying I think are good for positioning baby but I just really like how it feels on my lower back and hips.
I used one with my first and I didn’t feel like it did anything so not using one this time round
