AMH can be expressed in pmol/l (which I assume is your case) or ng/mL, so a lot of the different numbers you see online are also depending on the unit. I think 11 is on lower end (mine was 11 at 38 yo) but my doctor was more interesting in the number of follicles and yours is really good! Don't get too fixated on it, when I actually did IVF a year later my consultant didn't even measure it again and I had good results anyway! Best of luck!
Aw brilliant thank you all. He didn't seemed too bothered and maybe like you said it's not too important if it's withing a decent range I was just looking online and it was likely to be in a category which was older than what I was and I panicked and worries out our ivf cycle and also future too. Thanks for the reassurance @Vit and @Patrice when are you starting your ivf cycle. We are hoping to start our meds on our next cycle x
This is my first ivf cycle and we're doing a fresh transfer. Currently in stage 1 where im taking birth control. My baseline scan is 10/16, my last birth control pill is 10/17 and i start stims on 10/20
That's exciting. I'm still between panic and excitement. I don't know how to feel. I should be starting injections on my next period. I do not have birth control for this cycle
I think i will be anxious around stim time lol
I have PCOS and my AMH level is 11.8 and my clinic considers that as high or above normal range. You should be fine. Fingers crossed for you. This is my first ivf cycle and im excited
