I just had to look up what a push present is, and you definitely deserve one! I also had to have a c section, it was just shy of being an emergency, so I was awake. I went from the Dr recommending a c section, to me being in the OR in what felt like 10 minutes. I bawled before and after my surgery. I also felt like a failure and have a lot of trauma about the entire day. I know how you feel and you can message me anytime if you want to talk š
I had a natural birth for my first and a c section for the 2nd and i definitely think the c section is harder. Regardless of how you birth you deserve a push present. My Caesar was on my birthday so my husband told me that the baby was my birthday/push present all in one
So the rule is 1 present if natural birth and 2 presents if c-section as what your body has gone through is worse with c section xxx
A "push present" is only worded that way for flow of verbiage, really..... it's purpose is to show appreciation to the person who carried and delivered their child. But that's really if gift giving us the love language of you or your partner. If it isn't theirs and they don't know it is yours, then they may not realize you even wanted an appreciation gift.
