My consultant told me to take folic acid and 10mcg vit d3 daily x
@Nikki Thank you Nikki! Ordering some of these now X
@Rebecca Thanks rebecca! This is so helpful x
Personally I was taking sooooo many different high doses of things.. But my clinic recommended Inositol.. Folic is already in it (based on my diabetes) Coq10 200mg + for both me and my partner is a must.... I was taking a mixture of all the important ones for fertility, including iodine for implantation etc, however after speaking to a pregnancy nutritionist (as I've had surgeries) She told me to pop myself on "proceive" as it had all the right blend and mixtures you need for IVF, Turns out a few women I follow on tiktok have successfully got pregnant buying this brand during their IVF journey, and is recommended by most clinics... So I've switched to this preparing my body 😊... I think any good amounts of vitamins and minerals in most prenatals are good! As my nutritionist said "sometimes less is more" 💕🫶🏻 Very best of luck on your journey! And baby egg dust ✨️
I took impryl as recommended by my fertility clinic, plus an extra high dose vitamin D and folic acid. I also did acupuncture which I swear by!
I recommend getting the book ‘it starts with the egg’ as it had lots of tips and guidance on what to take an how much. It really helped with my journey and second the recommendation for acupuncture!
@Dani Thank you Dani, this is so helpful! I have tried Procieve at another point in my journey, alongside Inositol. Did you take this alongside eachother? How is your journey going? 💞
@Kim thank you Kim! At what stage did you do your acupuncture?
@Sophia I love this book! I'm about halfway through! Thank you Sophia! How is your journey going? X
Hi Molly! Currently pregnant after my 2nd round of IVF! I hugely recommend the book ‘It All Starts with the Egg’ - loads of really good recommendations for supplements but also diet changes based on what your body needs (for example, for endo or pcos or just deficiencies!) My consultant at the IVF clinic did recommend CoQ10 and I took that before the 2nd round as well as DHA and folic acid. My husband (whilst he had no issues) was also advised to go on a ‘Mediterranean diet’ as sperm can be improved in just a few weeks and plays such a huge part in the DNA! Loads of fish and colourful veg! Good luck!!! 🤞🏼
@Katherine Congratulations Katherine! These are wonderful recommendations thank you so so much 💖
@Molly I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant from my second collection of embryos (but first frozen transfer). We did IVF to avoid passing on a genetic kidney disease I’m affected by so had to get as many day 5 embryos as possible for testing. Our first rounded resulted in 2 embryos both affected by the disease but second round ended with 2 genetically normal embryos and this is the first one that stuck. I followed all of the supplement advice from the book and did acupuncture with a woman’s health specialist which I feel made a considerable improvement to our second round. I did acupuncture every 1-2 weeks in the month leading up to egg stimulation, then specific sessions during that period to help with growth and then specific sessions before and after transfer too. Good luck and be kind to yourself on the journey, because it takes time and different twists and turns! X
I highly recommend buy book it’s start with egg by rebbica fet 3rd edition. You can order from Amazon. And follow it accordingly. There lots of things and instructions which really helps. Also take proxeed women (improveed formula) and men (new formula) both. Take it twice a day. Even if your partner seman analysis come back normal but it improves sperm quality which is very important thing. As well egg quality.rest follow that book. Everything is mentioned there. Good luck my dear 🤞
