Baby hates tummy time and doesn’t crawl

Don’t stress, every baby develops in their own time. If she’s sitting up that’s okay too. My son just learnt how to crawl, sits up but doesn’t know how to pull to a sitting position by himself yet either. As for tummy time, my little man HATED it too, a pillow under his chest used to “help” a little if you haven’t tried yet. But try not to compare her development to others; she’ll get there when she’s ready ❤️
My girls the same. Just gotta remember that they are all different. Sounds like he's meeting all the milestones he's supposed to so don't stress it xx
My LB is not a fan of tummy time either and isn't crawling. He shuffles on his stomach and pushes himself back but that's the nearest to crawling we have gotten. I'm not worried, he'll get there and so will your little one.
Have a think about other ways you can do tummy time, that might be preferable to baby? 💐 Like having them on your chest. Or having them on their tummy propped up in the bassinet whilst on a walk. Or having them in a swimbobo float on their front when swimming. That’ll all help :) have you done some baby osteopath sessions to rule out any discomfort or tension? I swear by the osteopath, they’ve helped both my children with so many random things!
I wouldn’t worry. I don’t know loads of babies ar 8m that crawl?!
It’s hard not to worry and compare with others who can do it. I know what it’s like to look at others and wonder why my LB can’t. But just know for every parent who posts their child can, they are many who aren’t posting that their child can’t yet. My LB is also 8 months and can’t crawl. He has always hated tummy time as he had torticollis for the longest time, but I just try as much as I can throughout the day. Little and often is how I do it, and slowly my LB is building tolerance ☺️
My baby also isn’t crawling, only rolled a handful of times and hated tummy time but has been sitting up since 5.5 months old and loves standing so I’m not worried about his development! X
