Staphylococcus saprophyticus

I like totally anxiety ridden at this point & I just want to know if anybody has experienced this or even any kind at all. On sept 1st i received this diagnosis with uti symptoms present. I was given bactrim but started to get itchy and felt extremely tired. At that point my doctor switched me to nitrofurantoin it seemed to be make the symptoms go away. I was fine I experienced uti symptoms again. So I went back oct 9 he prescribed the same antibiotic 2nd time around. I no longer have symptoms , but the urine analysis came back the same. Any body else ever had anything like this? Or maybe have any tips to get rid of it naturally. As this point I’ve become an overthinker even googled and here comes the flood of anxiety with oh kidney issues & sepsis. I’m just here like what the heck.

I think you should see a different doctor or get a second opinion or maybe you can take the naturopathic route now that you know what you have what type of bacteria it is maybe there's something natural you can take that'll actually wipe it out because I know for a fact that oregano oil is stronger than amoxicillin and I know you need something stronger than that but I'm just saying

Oh wow I never heard of consuming oregano oil. But I’ll have to look into it more than . I just hate looking cause google scares me lol

@Sasha I definitely agree about oregano oil, however, it should be added that being mindful of your diet while taking natural remedies is so important. I recommend fasting to allow your body to begin to detoxify and regenerate healthy cells. This will also help balance bacterial levels in your body. You can also drink cranberry juice while you fast, but ensure that it is pure organic cranberry juice. It should have no other ingredients. Ocean Spray or similar juice brands add a lot of sugar and that can actually make it worse.

Thank you for the cranberry tip. I definitely have the ocean spray in my brand

Fridge * not brand lol

I used to get so many uti but not anymore I did had something similar like you second round of antibiotics and feeling the same but I just changed my diet and I did take cranberry juice Walmart has one that say not sugar add that is the one I use and I avoid sweet and flour products like bread 🥖 because this helps the bacteria to resist and drink a lot of water

You can add D-mannose to any therapy you choose including antibiotic therapy for bacteria of the urinary system. It is a sugar molecule that binds to the bacteria and helps you eliminate it via your urine. As i understand it is safe in pregnancy and diabetes but always do your own checking. I took preventatively during pregnancy because i am very probe to UTI’s and didnt have one during either pregnancy.

Thank you guys! I appreciate the advice !
