We did ivf treatment twice in Uk, no success. Twice in Spain both times successful ☺️
@alicia what is the IVF clinic that you used in Prague?
Thank you @alicia and @Phillipa... alicia, I was going to ask the same as Sabrina, which clinic in Prague did you go to?
It was Gennet ☺️
Low AMH might mean multiple egg retrievals, so for me cost was an important factor. There are many excellent clinics abroad so you don’t sacrifice quality for cost. That being said, there are awful clinics everywhere so do the research! I went to Spain and would recommend it.
Did ivf in India. I needed multiple cycles due to low amh. Had success on my 4th cycle. I also had a lap to remove endo. The doctor and clinic were amazing. Everything moved really fast and I was pregnant after 3.5 months.That too in addition to a surgery.
Hi @Daisy, where in India did you have your treatment?
Mumbai
@Ana-Lucia would you mind sharing where you had yours done? I’m looking at possibly going abroad.
@Phillipa would you mind sharing where you went in Spain Phillipa? X
@Samantha bernabeu in Alicante
@Ana-Lucia thanks so much xx
For those that went overseas, were the clinics strict on if you had visited Ziki infected counties? My 5th FET test date is tomorrow and I'm 110% sure its failed. I'm thinking I should just go overseas, everyone I speak to has been successfully but never on NHS, however I promised my other half a huge holiday next year to Africa.
@Sadie Not in India they were not.

@Phillipa I got some ads the other day that came up about ivf in Spain, did they speak good English? I always worry that language will be a barrier
@Samantha @Sammy ❤️ apologies both, we used IVF Life in Alicante, they also have clinics in Madrid and do have ties with some UK clinics. The language barrier isn’t really there, they have a lot of co-ordinators who are multi-lingual, and you are assigned a main POC who understands and speaks English. ☺️
@Phillipa Aww that's amazing, so happy it worked for you! Was the cost alot less than the uk?
@Sammy ❤️ tbh with regards to the actual treatment cycle it is there or there abouts it was a couple of £1000 cheaper for us than the UK (including travel costs etc) but obviously depends on the treatment route and other tests required. They do some tests you likely wouldn’t get in the UK, which is how they helped us. The biggest difference you’ll see in going abroad is the medication costs and the actual understanding you’re a person going through something pretty damn hard. We found our UK experience very much of a you were supposed to be easy, you have a problem, let’s just see what happens, oh it’s not worked, let’s try and find some other answers. Spain, a lot more personal and they tried their best to find out all the potentials before even suggesting a treatment route, both transfers we were shown our embryo on screens with good luck messages, paperwork folders had personal good luck messages in from the consultants and even embryologists ☺️ cannot fault them!
@Phillipa Aww that is amazing 🥹 I've had a round last year on nhs and started second round in two days with a private clinic, I'm hoping I get success but hearing your story gives me hope that there are other options, thank you so much for your help, going to keep it in mind 🥰
Having had a round in the UK and Prague. I would 100% go abroad again. Cost was a big factor, but the level of care and outcome so far has been far better in Prague. For context in the UK i had no blasts, in prague my round resulted in 11 frozen.
