I had an anterior placenta both times and felt my sons kick at 18 weeks and 20 weeks
@Jazmin oh that’s good to know! I’m 16 weeks and I can definitely feel things going on in my stomach but I have no idea whether it’s the baby or my body 😂 did you feel a kick or was it just movement?
Hello! I have an anterior placenta. Currently 38 weeks and movements are really strong and visible! Have been for quite a while now. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to feel or see my belly moving but not the case at all. I think i first felt her move around 22 weeks xxx
I had anterior placenta. Felt baby moving normally!
I had this and I didn’t feel my baby move for ages - later than the doctors expected - but once he started moving he didn’t stop!
I had this. I didn’t feel baby until about 27 weeks. I did go to triage to check all ok at times for reassurance. Then further on I had strong movements and could see my belly move a lot x
@Abbie oh this makes me feel so much better! I was really worried I wouldn’t get that feeling of my baby moving xxx
I have an anterior placenta. I started feeling flutters around week 16ish, felt kicks from week 24ish, and have only started seeing her kicks and movements at week 30/31. Now week 33 and she literally kicks my phone out of my hand if it's rested on my bump and I'm a chunky plus size gal 😂
I had it and she kicked the hell out of my kidneys 🤣🤣 most girls come with anterior placenta its not an issue inshala😘 dont worry just pray that the baby is okay
Around 20/21 weeks
I had one with both my babies. Felt the first flutters around 18 weeks with my first and 17 weeks with my second. Proper kicks around 20 weeks with my second (was maybe a bit later with my first). Both were making visible rolling movements in the third trimester!
Yep I had this. Felt the first flutters at 16weeks and proper movements building up from there. One week (think it was around 23 weeks) I couldn’t feel it so went into triage and it was just hiding behind the placenta but fine 😂. Deft worth checking out if that happens just to be safe but mostly smooth pregnancy and now she’s here 3 months old!
I had this and I felt little movements from around 21 weeks, by 30 weeks onwards the movements got really strong. They like to hide behind the placenta a lot too so I was constantly trying to poke my belly 😂
I had this with my first pregnancy and I didn’t feel him until about 26 weeks and then I began feeling like bubbles popping!

I have this currently and can feel the baby move a lot at 21 weeks and have been feeling them for a couple weeks but it has come a lot more obvious this last week x
I’ve got one - first felt her at about 24 weeks dull little kicks but now at 31 weeks I can physically see her kicking my stomach! It’s so amazing
I had this and felt flutters from 16 weeks!! Felt her everyday from then on once I had figured out it was her moving 😂 X
I also had this. I felt her kicking and moving from 16 weeks and very strong through pregnancy. I did have reduced movements a couple of times and believe this was when she was kicking the placenta but most of the time she had a lot of strong movements.
I have one too, currently 19w5d but haven’t felt anything yet. Had a private scan last week so know everything is fine, but really hoping I feel something soon as it can be such a worry! I also don’t feel like I’ve connected as much with baby as I think I will when I can feel her x
Around 18 weeks, dull lil kicks and then full on from like 20+ weeks :)
Anterior placenta and I felt the baby first at 24 weeks. It was very faint and I had to concentrate hard. But now at 29 weeks I feel the baby strong and clear. It feels like the vibrations of someone banging on the wall 😅 The only way I can describe it. And it's always very low. Lower stomach or pelvic area.
I felt my baby at around 14.5 weeks, this is my second pregnancy. I felt little kicks sporadically here and there, I’m 25 weeks tomorrow and I feel my baby all the time now!
I never felt my baby kick very much. Very faint movements that felt like gas between 20 & 30 weeks and then almost nothing at all when she ran out of room. Everyone made me so paranoid that something was wrong. She was born 4 days late, spontaneous labor, vaginal delivery, 100% healthy and 110% cute.
@Jazmine movement mainly but the kicks did happen, and the hiccups!
1st pregnancy with posterior I felt my baby around 20weeks - 2nd pregnancy with anterior and felt baby around 23/24 weeks - now I am 35 weeks and he’s always on the move 😂💙
I had anterior placenta but I felt baby move around 15/16 weeks ! Don’t be disheartened. You might be the same Xx
I had this and yes I still felt him move a lot! I think I started to feel him at 4 months
