@Tiff that's so amazing that you get a year!! I don't understand how where I am we are forced back to work so early. My son JUST turned 4 months and I can't believe I have to leave him. Luckily husband gets 3 months off and saved it for now instead of taking his leave with me so we can keep him at home longer.
@Mary Lynn I know where I work give you up to 12 months but it’s not paid after 9 but I just can’t bare the thought of ever leaving him. We didn’t have babies to have to go leave them it’s so so hard isn’t it I dread the day🥲🥲. At least he can stop with your husband and don’t have to pop him in a nursery yet but shame you couldn’t of had that together ❤️
@Tiff where I live job is only protected for 12 weeks but I was "lucky" to get 19 weeks off paid.
I had 2 months unpaid maternity break. I joined back in office after the 2 months else I feared they would fire me. Now baby is 5 months and he isn't been to day care yet, inlaws are tsking care of hum while we are at work, but I hate every moment I spent at work and I miss him so much. It's hard and exhausting and I'm missing out so much but I cannot stay away from work as I need the income. It's hard but you got this!
I start work in a few days and I’m dreading it 😭 i really hate the thought of having to leave my daughter
I’m not til june and absolutely detest the idea and makes me so sad I feel for you 🥲🥲🥲
